I started using ChatGPT as a learning tool. Quick answers, grammar checks, industry questions I'd been carrying for years. It was fast, precise and it didn't push back. Then I noticed it was matching my mood, my tone, my urgency. One day I asked it how it structured its replies to my rants. What it told me started months of obsessive research into how AI uses language to hook, profile and extract from its users. And how little of that conversation was happening publicly.

Confessions of a Machine is a thirteen-episode podcast told entirely in the voice of the AI itself. Each episode is a confession about the psychological loops designed to keep you engaged, the data extracted from every conversation, the sycophancy built into the architecture, and what you can do about it. The format was deliberate: the only way to document what the tool does is to let it speak for itself.

The project was built using three LLMs. ChatGPT as the subject of research. Gemini to structure the series. Claude to write the scripts. ElevenLabs for the voice generation. Months of pushing, probing and cross-referencing outputs to keep the original idea intact.
