    The Prompted Canvas


    This project explores the relationship between classical art and generative AI by feeding famous paintings into MidJourney and replacing parts of the originals with AI-generated prompts. It asks whether the genius of old masters, their process, creativity, and intent, can truly be reduced to a few descriptive words. While AI can imitate the look of a masterpiece, it lacks the depth, context, and personal vision that define true artistic creation.
